First time using the D700 for studio shot. It is amazing. ISO 200 is noise free and the sharpness of the image is good.

The WB is also very accurate using AUTO. Not sure how much better it will be if I have a D3X.

I am so glad to make the decision to go to Full Frame (35mm). It has order of magnitude better low light shooting capability (ISO 6400 still good), and ISO 800 has very clean picture. It also has better swallow depth of field. (picture looks more dynamic) Very large view finder, and it makes framing easier. 51 AF points and 3D-tracking

It is a totally different camera.

This lens is pretty useless on FX camera. I have sold it already. All of my DX lenses are sold. Actually, I am keeping my 35/1.8 unless they release the 35mm/1.4.

I bought my new and the first photo printer (Epson 1400). It is not as good as the R1900/2440, but I think it will do a good enough job. I will change the ink system to CIS and using the pigment ink soon.

Compressed RAF file doesn't support in the DxO

After a week of testing, I have purchased the DxO software to process the RAW file. It will also support the G10 later this month.

I have found a solution to save me some money not buying an extra Skyport receiver. I should be able to trigger up to 3 flashes together using this solution. It is perfect to achieve a one light on-location setup (with enough power by combining multiple flashes).
